PDX Airport Parking Addition & Consolidated Rental Car Facility

OEG was instrumental in the construction of the Concourse E expansion at the PDX Airport in Portland, Oregon.

OEG’s expertise was evident in the design-assist electrical construction services for the 1.6-million-square-foot parking structure and office building at the Portland International Airport. The facility consists of new offices for airport operations, additional long-term parking, a consolidated rental car facility, new rental car offices and a new parking toll plaza. Work included modifications to the existing P2 parking structure as well as significant changes and upgrades to surface roadways and underground utilities.

The project included expanding Concourse E and improving existing facilities, which will balance the number of passengers using the north and south sides of PDX. By extending Concourse E more than 800 feet, PDX gained room for several new gates, passenger concessions and other amenities while creating improved regional flight ground-loading facilities and airline operational spaces. The facility was built with long-term resiliency in mind, enabling airport operations to be functional immediately after a natural disaster.

OEG, Inc., an Everus company, has been delivering electrical construction results since 1947, including technical aviation projects like the PDX Airport.
