Capital Electric Construction Company completed multiple air-quality control projects at the La Cygne Generating Plant. One project involved installing a new underground duct bank system, including more than 100,000 lineal feet of raceway ranging in size from 2 to 6 inches in diameter. Raceways included PVC, rigid galvanized steel and FRP elbows and nipples.
The La Cygne Generating Plant was constructed next to the 2,600-acre La Cygne Lake in Kansas. The plant has a combined electric generating output capacity of 1,578 megawatts.
