Jeffrey S. Thiede

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Thiede was named president and chief executive officer of Everus Construction Group, formerly known as MDU Construction Services Group, effective April 30, 2013, and served as president from 2012 to 2013. Prior to these promotions, Mr. Thiede held several executive and management positions with Everus, including president of Capital Electric Construction Company from 2006 to 2011 and OEG, Inc., formerly known as Oregon Electric Group, Inc., from 2004 to 2011, both subsidiaries of Everus. Mr. Thiede has 20 years of experience at Everus and has served on various boards and foundations. Mr. Thiede holds a bachelor’s degree in construction from Arizona State University.

Mr. Nosbusch was named vice president and chief operating officer, effective upon completion of the spinoff of Everus Construction Group from MDU Resources Group. Mr. Nosbusch previously served as executive vice president of Everus and has 25 years of experience with MDU Resources’ companies. He began his career as a customer service engineer for Montana-Dakota Utilities and transitioned to working as a business development manager for both Montana-Dakota Utilities and Everus. Mr. Nosbusch served as vice president-business development and operations support from 2012 to 2021, vice president-business development and support services, and numerous other management positions at Everus. Mr. Nosbusch holds a bachelor’s degree in energy management from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Dakota.

Mr. Marcy was named vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer, effective upon completion of the spinoff of Everus Construction Group from MDU Resources Group. Mr. Marcy has a strong background in finance, accounting, cashflow management, business support, performance reporting and financial analysis. He previously was vice president II and business unit chief financial officer of the Engineering Adhesives Segment at H.B. Fuller Company. Mr. Marcy also previously held several management and leadership positions at H.B. Fuller, including vice president, corporate finance-financial planning and analysis; senior director corporate treasurer; director, assistant treasurer; director, investor relations and international finance; and senior manager, treasury and investor relations. Mr. Marcy holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Augsburg University and a master’s degree in business administration-corporate finance from the University of Minnesota-Carlson School of Management.

Mr. Sanderson was named vice president, chief legal officer and secretary of Everus Construction Group, effective upon completion of the spinoff of Everus from MDU Resources Group. Mr. Sanderson previously was vice president, chief legal officer and secretary of MDU Resources, a position he held since 2023. Prior to his role at MDU Resources, Mr. Sanderson was a partner in Evenson Sanderson PC since 2013 and a partner with Zuger Kirmis & Smith in Bismarck, North Dakota. Mr. Sanderson has served as outside counsel for MDU Resources' companies in regulatory matters since 2011. He holds a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of North Dakota and his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law.

Mr. Hunke was named vice president and chief accounting officer of Everus Construction Group, effective upon completion of the spinoff of Everus from MDU Resources Group. Mr. Hunke previously was vice president of accounting and enterprise information technology for Everus and has been with the company 2003. He has a strong background in accounting consolidation, SOX oversight and best practices that provide stockholders with integrity in the company’s financial statements. Mr. Hunke also was treasurer and controller from 2014 to 2015. Mr. Hunke has accounting, business and management degrees from Bismarck State College, North Dakota State University and University of Mary, respectively.

Ms. Hendricks was named vice president of human resources, effective upon completion of the spinoff of Everus Construction Group from MDU Resources Group. Ms. Hendricks previously was director of human resources for Everus and has been with the company since 2019. She previously worked in human resources at MDU Resources and has a strong background in human resources management. Ms. Hendricks has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Dickinson State University.

Mr. Behring was named vice president of technology, effective upon completion of the spinoff of Everus Construction Group from MDU Resources Group. Mr. Behring has been with Everus since 2019 and previously was director of enterprise information technology. Mr. Behring also previously served as IT manager of OEG, Inc, an Everus subsidiary. He has a strong background in information technology operations, cybersecurity and compliance. Mr. Behring has a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Western Governors University and a master’s degree in cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Timothy R. Sznewajs

Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy

Mr. Sznewajs previously was with D.A. Davidson & Co., where as a managing director he developed a leading middle-market construction services investment banking practice focused on mergers and acquisitions within the electrical and mechanical, and transmission and distribution sectors. Sznewajs’ experience in middle-market construction services investment banking spans more than 20 years. Prior to the decade he was with D.A. Davidson & Co., Sznewajs co-led FMI Capital Advisors, the investment banking group of FMI Corp., where he was responsible for originating and leading numerous high-profile infrastructure industry transactions. He began his career in the M&A department of Goldman Sachs & Co.Sznewajs holds a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame.

Vice President of Safety, Health and Environmental

Mr. Pizzi joined the Everus family of companies in 2000 when he was hired as a site safety manager for Capital Electric Construction Company. In 2004, he became safety coordinator for Capital Electric Construction and Capital Electric Line Builders. He was named safety director of Capital Electric Construction in 2006. In 2017, Mr. Pizzi was promoted to director of safety, health and environmental for Everus’ brand predecessor. He was named vice president of safety, health and environmental effective Jan. 1, 2025. Mr. Pizzi has a bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health from Central Missouri State University.

Kenny L. Whipple

Kenny L. Whipple

Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Whipple was named vice president of business development for Everus in 2025. He joined the Everus family of companies in 2021 when he was hired as a senior project manager for Bombard Electric. Mr. Whipple has worked in the electrical industry since 1999 and has been in supervisory and management roles for approximately 20 years. He has extensive experience with developing lasting customer relationships, providing preconstruction project engineering, design and constructability review. Mr. Whipple is a journeyman electrician.
